Frequently asked questions
How much does it cost to take a payment with Cifrago?
0.99% + €0.15 on every payment by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay, and 1.49% + €0.25 with PayPal. That fee is all you pay per payment: subscription billing, entitlements and webhooks are included.
Is there a monthly fee?
The launch plan has no monthly fee up to €1,000 a month in revenue. Above that there are plans with a fixed fee that add analytics, multi-app and automatic invoicing, but the per-payment fee does not change.
Do you take a percentage of my revenue on top of the fee?
No. You pay the fee on the payment and nothing else. There is no additional percentage of your revenue for managing subscriptions.
Which payment methods are supported?
Credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay and PayPal. Card payments are routed through European acquiring, with strong customer authentication whenever the bank asks for it.
Does it work with mobile apps?
Yes. On the web, Cifrago processes the payment directly. On iOS and Android, a purchase made inside the app goes through the App Store or Google Play, as the stores require, and Cifrago keeps the same subscription status and the same access rights across every platform.
Do I need Stripe or another payment provider?
No. Cifrago includes its own payment processing. You can add a second processor later if you want one, but you do not need it to start.
When can I start charging?
The platform is in the final stages of development. Leave your email in the contact form and we will let you know as soon as it is ready for production.
Is it secure?
Card data is tokenised and never passes through your servers. Webhooks are signed with HMAC-SHA256, every event is idempotent, and the architecture is aligned with PCI DSS SAQ-A.
Subscriptions
Entitlements, renewals, cancellations, and plan changes — the full lifecycle managed so your app only has to ask if the user has access.
Direct billing
Integrated PSP: process card and wallet payments without depending on Stripe or any other external processor.
Security
Tokenization, HMAC signing, per-app separation, and a complete sandbox. Your servers never see card data.
The fees shown correspond to the launch plan and apply per completed payment. Final rates may vary with contract, volume and risk assessment; when they do, they are agreed before signing, never afterwards.
